As the name implies, the Vichy shower was inspired in the city of Vichy, France.  This city contains five natural mineral springs, and these are what inspired the idea of the Vichy shower. A Vichy shower, it is a horizontal shower, which includes five to seven shower heads that are placed above a table. To simply describe a Vichy shower, it is a hydrotherapy treatment you have while lying down on a table. A Vichy shower treatment may have, but not always include massage but no matter what treatment you choose it will most certainly relax and revitalize you.  Our Vichy shower room has a heated floor to keep you warm both before and after your treatment.  Vichy showers are not common, but Spas worldwide feature the shower with some of their most popular hydrotherapy treatments. We offer treatments that can either be a compliment to massage or not, there are wraps and scrub options, or the Vichy shower can be used as a stand-alone therapeutic treatment. When you receive the Vichy shower with any of our body treatments, the aesthetician will gently rub and exfoliate your skin with the chosen body wrap or salt scrub. Vichy shower hydrotherapy treatments helps relax our clients,  but they also are known to provide an immunity boost by stimulating lymphatic circulation.

Prepare loose clothing you can change into

These are just some ideas you might want to think about before trying our Vichy Shower.  Some people like to bring a change of clothes after the treatment. These treatments relaxes and improves your circulation and makes you feel super clean so you might want to put on some clean loose fitting clothes after the treatment to keep yourself feeling squeaky clean.

Vichy Shower Etiquette

Every client must wear your choice of the following during treatments: disposable underwear supplied by My Haven, be covered by a towel, or bring your own swim wear, there are no exceptions.

Come on time

This tip is applicable really for any spa appointment as we have limited equipment and personnel. Everything runs based on the day’s schedule, so if we have back to back appointments and one customer is late, this can affect all the following appointments because you’ll be tying up the room, the equipment, and the aesthetician.

Another reason is that the main reason to come to our spa to get a treatment is to relax. Your stress levels may builds up when you are late, and might make your spa experience less than awesome!

We like to keep that atmosphere of calm, peace and tranquility when you arrive.

Disconnect during your time at the spa

You might want to turn off your mobile phone as the time at our spa is all about you getting pampered.

Leave your jewelry and valuables at home

For all personal items you don’t want to worry about, leave your jewelry and other valuables at home. We don’t want you to worry about losing anything expensive or important to you.

Get in the zone

Forget all the drama in the office or at home and everything else that may be bothering you. This is time for yourself. Enjoy.
